The Academy was great for understanding core tech concepts so that I was in a position to start learning things on my own. However, something that surprised me was how useful I found the training on project management methodologies. When I found out that my team worked in Agile, this was something I was familiar with, so I knew what to expect when people referred to the “current” or “next sprint”. I was also familiar with tracking work items using boards, understanding other people’s roles such as BA, PO or Scrum Master and how a retro works.

Ten10 has continued to support me throughout my placement. I’ve had access to one-to-one sessions with my coaches, regular check-ins from the wellbeing team, and learning resources, including the option to order books and courses to deepen my skills. That ongoing support has made a big difference. It’s reassuring to know that even while on the client site, I’m still part of a community that genuinely invests in my growth. WHAT WE OFFER
The initial training for Scale Factory Academy Technology Consultants comprises a seven-week, intensive, classroom-based technical primer followed by further role-based specialist training to gain industry qualifications, all taught either remotely, or a Scale Factory’s dedicated training facility in Leeds.
Once you complete the training you will get to work with our exciting clients on some of the best projects across London and the UK.
